Renowned radiology practice in the Lakeland, Florida area is seeking a physician assistant to join their growing team! Ideal candidates will have a background working in radiology, however candidates with experience in surgery, emergency medicine, critical care, etc. are also strongly encouraged to apply and the group is very willing to train! Enjoy a stable Monday-Friday schedule and work with a tight-knit team, all while performing hands-on procedures and working in the emerging field of interventional radiology. Responsibilities: • Full-time permanent position - Interventional Radiology • Monday-Friday schedule • Perform breast and thyroid biopsies, post-biopsy dressing, wound care, and patient emergency situations • Perform additional procedures such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, PICC lines, etc. • Take an active role in patient and family education, communication between referring physicians and patient families Qualifications: • Florida Physician Assistant License • BLS/ACLS Certified • Strong interpersonal skills • Experience performing hands-on procedures Benefits: • Highly competitive base salary • 401(k) • PTO and paid holidays • Health insurance - medical, dental, and vision • CME allowance • Malpractice insurance...using standard and exotic metals.
