TRA is hiring for a full time (1.0 FTE) Certified Physician Assistant to directly support our Interventional Radiology team. Location: Multiple Hospitals across Pierce and South King County with mileage reimbursement for qualified travel between facilities
Schedule: Standard Hours - 7:30AM 5:30PM
This team works in support of local hospitals and operates 365 days per year. Applicants for this position are expected to have flexibility to work 10 hour shifts and some weekends and holidays. You will work alongside this cohesive team in order to fulfill the IR PA team coverage responsibilities.
Pay: $131,362.00 - $179,373 per year based on relevant experience, skills, and abilities. This role is also eligible for additional bonuses based on performance and shift.

Job Summary:
Primary duties of the Physician Assistant (PA) include assessing, planning and providing patient care under the supervision of a physician. The PA examines patients, performs comprehensive physical examinations, and compiles patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination. Will independently perform procedures in hospital and outpatient settings. The PA must also be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the radiology field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Work is classified as moderate in physical requirements. Must be able to assist in supporting patients of varying weight. Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods of time. Reaching by extending hand(s) or arm(s) in any direction. Also requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment as necessary.
Mental Requirements
Work requires high attention to detail and the ability to handle mentally stressful situations. The ability to maintain high level of sensitivity towards confidential information is also required.
Working/Environmental Conditions
Work environment consists of normal clinical inpatient and outpatient working conditions. There may be exposure to communicable diseases. There will be limited exposure to ionizing radiation.
